3 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 teaspoon iodized salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup room temperature milk
4 tablespoons melted butter
2/3 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2/3 cup bacon bits, cooked crisp

In a small mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and garlic powder. stir to ensure it is evenly combined. Add milk and melted butter and stir just until ingredients are not longer dry. Place the dough inside of your lined slow cooker. Press gently toward the edges, yet still leaving an inch more between the dough and the crock. Sprinkle the top of the dough with the bacon bits and shredded cheese.
Drape a single layer of tea towel (or paper towel if you need) over the top of the slow cooker and then cover with the lid. Cook on high for 2 hours. Do not remove the lid during baking.
