Bacon Wrapped Pickles

These make the perfect salty snack to go with chilled summer beverages of choice!  Make for brunches, too…..but consider yourself warned….they will go fast!  The recipe doesn’t include amounts because you just use one strip of bacon for 1 pickle spear.  (15 pickles will require 15 pieces of bacon)

Bacon strips, uncooked (I prefer claussen…but they all work!)

Dill pickle spears

Directions:

Preheat oven to 425 degrees.  Line a rimmed baking sheet with tinfoil (for easy cleanup).  Wrap each pickle spear with bacon, being sure to overlap the bacon slightly as you wrap it because the bacon will shrink when it is cooked.  Lay the wrapped pickle spears on the tin foil lined pan.  Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the bacon has reached your desired level of doneness.
